3rd Special Ed.
Ms. Estes is a native of Texas, who was transplanted to the desert of California by her father’s career at the young age of 5 years old. She spent summers vacationing in Texas with family and close friends. As soon as her family was able to relocate back to Texas they jumped at the opportunity. Ms. Estes graduated a year early from Excelsior High School in Victorville, CA to be able to return to Texas for College. She never plans to live outside the great state of Texas again.
Ms. Estes graduated from Teaxas A&M Commerce with her Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in December of 2013. She is state certified to teach grades Early Childhood through 6th grade. Ms. Estes added her Special Education Certification in June of 2015, when she found her true calling as a teacher on the Intermediate Campus in the 3rd Grade Special Education Department.
Ms. Estes began her career working at Kidsfirst Christian Academy in Malakoff, TX as the lead Pre-K Teacher. When she began her college classes at A&M Commerce she took a position as a Special Education Aide at Tool Elementary School. There she gained significant experience working with Special Education students and staff. Ms. Estes stayed home with her young children for several years before returning to the education field as a Certified Teacher in August of 2015. She began her career as a 1st Grade teacher at Eustace ISD. The next year, she moved to the Intermediate Campus Special Education Department where she has happily been teaching ever since.
Ms. Estes is a proud mom to 6 wonderful children, all who attend Eustace ISD. She spends the majority of her spare time in the stands cheering on her 5 boys in football, with her daughter by her side. The Estes Tribe has 2 crazy dogs at home named Lucy and Chief. They love being apart of the Eustace ISD family.
